What happened?

When I clicked synced, I expected the budget and info to be synced properly, yet I am getting an error that says 'unable to sync changes'

I experienced the same issue as you when i updated mine to 25.10.0.

What i did was to flush the cache and site data of the browser that you are using.

Or if its actual budget application on win11, uninstall the application and the stored data. (Export it first on your client just in case) and then reinstall at
https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/releases/tag/v25.10.0
and then sign back into your server.

Is the server running? Can you access the server in a private window? What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing the browser cache like was mentioned already?

Hi all,

Thanks for the help. I re-looked at Actual Budget documentation:

If your budget is very old, you may have trouble restoring large backups. If you’re encountering this issue, click “Reset Sync” under 'Settings' > 'Show advanced settings' to reset sync, then make the export again. This should reduce the file size.

Resetting Sync & Budget worked for me.
