What happened?

When adding a new transaction without filling in all required fields, I attempted to manually add a transaction without a linked date and received the error "Something internally went wrong. You may want to restart the app if anything looks wrong. Please report this as a new issue on GitHub." However, if I attempt to add a transaction without a linked account, I receive the error "Account is a required field." Since both fields are required, I believe the error message for transactions without specified dates should simply be "Date is a required field." However, I am not sure if this issue is deeper than just the error message, which is why I filed the bug

How can we reproduce the issue?

  1. Go to an account
  2. Click " Add New"
  3. Attempt to add a transaction without a date

Where are you hosting Actual?

Locally via Yarn

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?
