What happened?

A bug happened!

How can we reproduce the issue?

Go to Rules, create a new rule, set conditions to notes - matches and then type a word with a backslash.
example:
#\d+
or just
\
or
asdfasdf\

This is on v25.12.0

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox

Operating System

Windows 11

The only things that crashed for me were \ and asdf\

I noticed the same thing today – I've got the error for typing with an opened (and not closed) square bracket.

I use Actual on Picapods, v26.5.2 on both server and client, viewing through Chrome PWA app.
