Need to consider selecting datasets carefully so students can easily swap and explore different datasets. Some random thoughts:

  1. 🧮 Scalar & vector functions → Synthetic regression
  2. 🔤 Simple classifiers → MNIST / Fashion-MNIST
  3. 🖼️ CNNs → CIFAR-10
  4. 🧱 Training infrastructure → TinyImageNet
  5. 🛠️ Systems evaluation → Synthetic performance datasets
  6. 📊 MLOps tooling → Simulated drift/noise datasets
