📄 Description

Adding awesome-killchain to the Awesome Repositories list.

What's different

Workflow-driven (not alphabetical) — organized by MITRE ATT&CK tactic × target domain matrix with technique IDs per tool. Live 🟢🟡🔴 health signals refreshed daily by CI, so no link rot accumulation.

Coverage

  • 155 tools across offensive + defensive (the defensive half maps to MITRE D3FEND lifecycle)
  • Per-target cheatsheets auto-generated from a single YAML source of truth
  • Opinionated minimum-viable stacks with explicit rejections (stacks/)
  • Tool obituaries for archived/abandoned tools (OBITUARIES.md)
  • CVE response mapping for critical CVEs (cve-responses/)
  • AKS (Awesome Killchain Score) — algorithmic quality score 0–100 per tool, exposable as shields.io badge

Dataset

Structured tools.json / playbooks.json / schema.json published as GitHub Release assets — consumable by AI agents and MCP servers as a knowledge base, not just a list.

Repo state

  • v0.1.5 (initial public release earlier today)
  • CI green: validate, test, build, link-check, daily enrich, weekly link-check, release on tag
  • License: MIT (code) + CC-BY-4.0 (content)
  • 100% open source, no commercial gating

Suggested placement

Inserted alphabetically between "IoT and Hardware Security" and "Mainframe Hacking" in the Awesome Repositories table.

Thanks for maintaining this list — happy to address any feedback.
