fddaebb285 Handle large numbers when parsing/printing a duration
The isccfg_duration_fromtext() function is truncating large numbers
to 32 bits instead of capping or rejecting them, i.e. 64424509445,
which is 0xf00000005, gets parsed as 32-bit value 5 (0x00000005).

Fail parsing a duration if any of its components is bigger than
32 bits. Using those kind of big numbers has no practical use case
for a duration.

The isccfg_duration_toseconds() function can overflow the 32 bit
seconds variable when calculating the duration from its component
parts.

To avoid that, use 64-bit calculation and return UINT32_MAX if the
calculated value is bigger than UINT32_MAX. Again, a number this big
has no practical use case anyway.

The buffer for the generated duration string is limited to 64 bytes,
which, in theory, is smaller than the longest possible generated
duration string.

Use 80 bytes instead, calculated by the '7 x (10 + 1) + 3' formula,
where '7' is the count of the duration's parts (year, month, etc.), '10'
is their maximum length when printed as a decimal number, '1' is their
indicator character (Y, M, etc.), and 3 is two more indicators (P and T)
and the terminating NUL character.

dc55f1ebb9 Fix an off-by-one error in cfg_print_duration()
The cfg_print_duration() checks added previously in the 'duration_test'
unit test uncovered a bug in cfg_print_duration().

When calculating the current 'str' pointer of the generated text in the
buffer 'buf', it erroneously adds 1 byte to compensate for that part's
indicator character. For example, to add 12 minutes, it needs to add
2 + 1 = 3 characters, where 2 is the length of "12", and 1 is the length
of "M" (for minute). The mistake was that the length of the indicator
is already included in 'durationlen[i]', so there is no need to
calculate it again.

In the result of this mistake the current pointer can advance further
than needed and end up after the zero-byte instead of right on it, which
essentially cuts off any further generated text. For example, for a
5 minutes and 30 seconds duration, instead of having this:

    'P', 'T', '5', 'M', '3', '0', 'S', '\0'

The function generates this:

    'P', 'T', '5', 'M', '\0', '3', '0', 'S', '\0'

Fix the bug by adding to 'str' just 'durationlen[i]' instead of
'durationlen[i] + 1'.

9440910187 Fix a logical bug in cfg_print_duration()
The cfg_print_duration() function prints a ISO 8601 duration value
converted from an array of integers, where the parts of the date and
time are stored.

durationlen[6], which holds the "seconds" part of the duration, has
a special case in cfg_print_duration() to ensure that when there are
no values in the duration, the result still can be printed as "PT0S",
instead of just "P", so it can be a valid ISO 8601 duration value.

There is a logical error in one of the two special case code paths,
when it checks that no value from the "date" part is defined, and no
"hour" or "minute" from the "time" part are defined.

Because of the error, durationlen[6] can be used uninitialized, in
which case the second parameter passed to snprintf() (which is the
maximum allowed length) can contain a garbage value.

This can not be exploited because the buffer is still big enough to
hold the maximum possible amount of characters generated by the "%u%c"
format string.

Fix the logical bug, and initialize the 'durationlen' array to zeros
to be a little safer from other similar errors.

20acb8d3a3 When loading dnssec-policies, inherit from default
Most of the settings (durations) are already inheriting from the default
because they use the constants from lib/dns/kasp.h. We need them as
constants so we can use them in named-checkconf to verify the policy
parameters.

The NSEC(3) parameters and keys should come from the actual default
policy. Change the call to cfg_kasp_fromconfig() to include the default
kasp. We also no longer need to corner case where config is NULL we load
the built-in policy: the built-in policies are now loaded when config is
set to named_g_config.

Finally, add a debug log (it is useful to see which policies are being
loaded).

5ff414e986 Store built-in dnssec-policies in defaultconf
Update the defaultconf with the built-in policies. These will now be
printed with "named -C".

Change the defines in kasp.h to be strings, so they can be concatenated
in the defaultconf. This means when creating a kasp structure, we no
longer initialize the defaults (this is fine because only kaspconf.c
uses dns_kasp_create() and it inherits from the default policy).

In kaspconf.c, the default values now need to be parsed from string.

Introduce some variables so we don't need to do get_duration multiple
times on the same configuration option.

Finally, clang-format-14 decided to do some random formatting changes.

8134d46cdb Error if key lifetime is too short
The key lifetime should not be shorter than the time it costs to
introduce the successor key, otherwise keys will be created faster than
they are removed, resulting in a large key set.

The time it takes to replace a key is determined by the publication
interval (Ipub) of the successor key and the retire interval of the
predecessor key (Iret).

For the ZSK, Ipub is the sum of the DNSKEY TTL and zone propagation
delay (and publish safety). Iret is the sum of Dsgn, the maximum zone
TTL and zone propagation delay (and retire safety). The sign delay is
the signature validity period minus the refresh interval: The time to
ensure that all existing RRsets have been re-signed with the new key.
The ZSK lifetime should be larger than both values.

For the KSK, Ipub is the sum of the DNSKEY TTL and zone propagation
delay (and publish safety). Iret is the sum of the DS TTL and parent
zone propagation delay (and retire safety). The KSK lifetime should be
larger than both values.

2c3b2dabe9 Move all the unit tests to /tests/<libname>/
The unit tests are now using a common base, which means that
lib/dns/tests/ code now has to include lib/isc/include/isc/test.h and
link with lib/isc/test.c and lib/ns/tests has to include both libisc and
libdns parts.

Instead of cross-linking code between the directories, move the
/lib/<foo>/test.c to /tests/<foo>.c and /lib/<foo>/include/<foo>test.h
to /tests/include/tests/<foo>.h and create a single libtest.la
convenience library in /tests/.

At the same time, move the /lib/<foo>/tests/ to /tests/<foo>/ (but keep
it symlinked to the old location) and adjust paths accordingly. In few
places, we are now using absolute paths instead of relative paths,
because the directory level has changed. By moving the directories
under the /tests/ directory, the test-related code is kept in a single
place and we can avoid referencing files between libns->libdns->libisc
which is unhealthy because they live in a separate Makefile-space.

In the future, the /bin/tests/ should be merged to /tests/ and symlink
kept, and the /fuzz/ directory moved to /tests/fuzz/.

63fe9312ff Give the unit tests a big overhaul
The unit tests contain a lot of duplicated code and here's an attempt
to reduce code duplication.

This commit does several things:

1. Remove #ifdef HAVE_CMOCKA - we already solve this with automake
   conditionals.

2. Create a set of ISC_TEST_* and ISC_*_TEST_ macros to wrap the test
implementations, test lists, and the main test routine, so we don't
have to repeat this all over again. The macros were modeled after
libuv test suite but adapted to cmocka as the test driver.

A simple example of a unit test would be:

    ISC_RUN_TEST_IMPL(test1) { assert_true(true); }

    ISC_TEST_LIST_START
    ISC_TEST_ENTRY(test1)
    ISC_TEST_LIST_END

    ISC_TEST_MAIN (Discussion: Should this be ISC_TEST_RUN ?)

For more complicated examples including group setup and teardown
functions, and per-test setup and teardown functions.

3. The macros prefix the test functions and cmocka entries, so the name
of the test can now match the tested function name, and we don't have
to append `_test` because `run_test_` is automatically prepended to
the main test function, and `setup_test_` and `teardown_test_` is
prepended to setup and teardown function.

4. Update all the unit tests to use the new syntax and fix a few bits
   here and there.

5. In the future, we can separate the test declarations and test
implementations which are going to greatly help with uncluttering the
bigger unit tests like doh_test and netmgr_test, because the test
implementations are not declared static (see `ISC_RUN_TEST_DECLARE`
   and `ISC_RUN_TEST_IMPL` for more details.

NOTE: This heavily relies on preprocessor macros, but the result greatly
outweighs all the negatives of using the macros. There's less
duplicated code, the tests are more uniform and the implementation can
be more flexible.

85c6e797aa Add option to configure load balance sockets
Previously, the option to enable kernel load balancing of the sockets
was always enabled when supported by the operating system (SO_REUSEPORT
on Linux and SO_REUSEPORT_LB on FreeBSD).

It was reported that in scenarios where the networking threads are also
responsible for processing long-running tasks (like RPZ processing, CATZ
processing or large zone transfers), this could lead to intermitten
brownouts for some clients, because the thread assigned by the operating
system might be busy. In such scenarious, the overall performance would
be better served by threads competing over the sockets because the idle
threads can pick up the incoming traffic.

Add new configuration option (`load-balance-sockets`) to allow enabling
or disabling the load balancing of the sockets.

4. Handle the rest that can't be modified via .reuse/dep5 file. The

next to them in <foo>.license file, but this would lead to cluttered
repository and most of the files handled in the .reuse/dep5 file are
   system test files.

0aaaa8768f Reject NSEC records with next field with \000 label
A number of DNS implementation produce NSEC records with bad type
maps that don't contain types that exist at the name leading to
NODATA responses being synthesize instead of the records in the
zone. NSEC records with these bad type maps often have the NSEC
NSEC field set to '\000.QNAME'. We look for the first label of
this pattern.

e.g.
example.com NSEC \000.example.com SOA NS NSEC RRSIG
	example.com RRRSIG NSEC ...
	example.com SOA ...
	example.com RRRSIG SOA ...
	example.com NS ...
	example.com RRRSIG NS ...
	example.com A ...
	example.com RRRSIG A ...

A is missing from the type map.

This introduces a temporary option 'reject-000-label' to control
this behaviour.

0ee6f66cbd Integrate extended ACLs syntax featuring 'port' and 'transport' opts
This commit completes the integration of the new, extended ACL syntax
featuring 'port' and 'transport' options.

The runtime presentation and ACL loading code are extended to allow
the syntax to be used beyond the 'allow-transfer' option (e.g. in
'acl' definitions and other 'allow-*' options) and can be used to
ultimately extend the ACL support with transport-only
ACLs (e.g. 'transport-acl tls-acl port 853 transport tls'). But, due
to fundamental nature of such a change, it has not been completed as a
part of 9.17.X release series due to it being close to 9.18 stable
release status. That means that we do not have enough time to fully
test it.

The complete integration is planned as a part of 9.19.X release
series.

The code was manually verified to work as expected by temporarily
enabling the extended syntax for 'acl' statements and 'allow-query'
