Added a small program to generate "random" data. It's not really random,
but it's only for tests. This allows the large files containing random
data to be removed from the tree.

Trailing whitespace trimmed. Perhaps running "perl util/spacewhack.pl in your
own CVS tree will help minimize CVS conflicts. Maybe not.
